Here, there is an elemental seru named "VERA" a light seru which can be used as healing magic. Make sure to capture one.
This will be very usefull when you face CARUBAN later, as his bite hurts a lot. Take the "Speed elixir" on nearby treasure chest before going up.
Enter the cave and proceed until you meet first intersection., and take the RIGHT path to get "1x healing leaf" and a "Vahn Fist".
Now, back to the intersection again and take the LEFT path to proceed to the summit. Pick up a "Healing Bloom" a long the way.
On the summit, TERRA sense META and ask him and Vahn to help NOA fight the boss.

This dude is rather challenging so you have to know how to beat this properly. First, his element is FIRE, same with META and VAHN, so dont use Vahn's Tornado Flame, as it will render ineffective.
Damage will be halved, and attack point (AP) will be wasted.
Better, Have VAHN dedicated as healer and NOA as attacker. Why?
Because Vahn and caruban has the same element, caruban attack will be halved on vahn ( but severe on noa ).
Heal properly and hit caruban with Noa's Tempest Break 7x, and he will done for.
After Caruban is defeated, TERRA ask to be moved near the tree and META ask vahn to revive the tree.
The power of the genesis tree has releasing drake castle's people from the MIST, including the KING.
Now, TERRA detach herself from the WOLF and attach to NOA.
Now NOA will join your party!
After some chit chat, back to Drake Castle, where King Drake has waiting for you as a Liberator Hero.
After the king giving you WATER KEY to open water gate, go search for all room to open previously locked treasure chest, and head for the castle front yard.
Specially the room where the king has been locked, where you'll get a "PLATINUM CARD" which can be used to enable secret item on any shop you encounter.
Now head back to another room and collect all treasure chest before you go to castle frontyard, where all kind of people and shop are gathering.
Hint: If NOA asked you about what money is, and you choose "I dont know", armor shop owner will give NOA fighting robe for FREE.
Next, NOA will on the item shop, and will give you a quiz, which you had to answer all of them correctly to get the reward.

Question 2. What does door of light let you do?
Answer: Escape from a dungeon
Question 3. What is the supply dealer's name
Answer: Wats
And you'll be rewarded with 10x healing shroom. Not bad =))
And do make sure you buy "Defender Chain" from item shop, as this item is really help in your survival for raise the blocking rate from enemy attack.
Now that you have done shopping, step out from the castle and head for WATER GATE.
Close the water gate, and open treasure chest for WIND BOOK 1, which is NOA's very first hyper art, FROST BREATH.
Continue your way to the east toward BIRON MONASTERY.
Dont forget to pick up PHOENIX and LIFE WATER from the entrace valley to the mist generator.
Since nothing you can do with the mist generator at this point, just leave the valley and continue your journey toward BIRON MONASTERY.
